ESSMA Safety & Security Workshop: Wednesday, 24 May 2017

Supported by
The World Stadium Congress and the European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA) have once again teamed up to present the Stadium Safety and Security Workshop as part of the event. Events over the last year have highlighted that stadium security and safety is an issue that needs to be constantly in the forefront of the stakeholders’ minds. Whether the threat is from terrorism, hooliganism or other emergency situations, making sure that you have a strategy in place to combat these threats is imperative to maintain safety and security at your venues.

This workshop has been formulated with the support of ESSMA to provide a comprehensive briefing about crisis management, training and readiness of staff as well as the technology solutions that will help you secure your stadium against disasters.

Benefits of attending:
. Safeguard your stadium and save lives: Terror is a clear and present danger to all sporting occasions with a number of attacks targeting stadiums in recent years.
. Understand the best practices in crowd control: Whether within stadiums or in the surrounding precincts, the effective management of fans and spectators is essential to avoid potential incidents
. Hear case studies from international experts: There is no substitute for experience and you will hear about practical case studies from experts on how to apply theory in practical situations
. Network with industry colleagues: Through this interactive format, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in knowledge transfer with like-minded individuals in order to address your unique concerns with those who may have encountered similar challenges
